We are currently looking for a number of aspiring Desktop Support Engineers to deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer technical issues. Providing IT Services and Consultancy to the UK Public Sector including local and central government agencies, blue light, healthcare and defence. MUST HOLD NPPV2/CTC Support Engineer Skills • NPPV2/CTC • Take ownership of customer problems • Respond to requests for technical assistance • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely, concise and informative manner • Completion of service tickets in a timely, concise and informative manner • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention • Follow and maintain ITIL Process • Attend customer sites and provide IT support as directed by the customer Desirable Skills • Experience in a Helpdesk, Service Desk or IT Support role • Technical experience with: Windows 10, Windows Server OS (2008/2012/2016), Active Directory, Office 365, PBX systems, Backup solutions • Experience of working within an ITIL framework, ideally with an ITIL Foundation certificate If this looks like something of interest then please send your CV to natasha@sidestepconsulting.co.uk and call for more information.
